2nd NST and Another Ultrasound,,,

Today I had to go for my follow-up ultrasound to check on the sizes of the babies and for another NST. John came with me for this appointment.

First they called me back to have my NST done. They hooked me up to all of the monitors and handed me my little clicker. The nurse was really good this time and found the heartbeats right away without even using the ultrasound wand to find them. So she hooked me up and I just sat. John read a magazine. LOL. So again, I just sat there listening to the beautiful sounds of my babies hearts beating and clicking the little button every time I felt someone move. The girl came in a couple of times to check on me and every time she looked at the paper thing she said how great the babies were doing and that everything was perfect! So I only had to sit there for like 20 mintues again because both babies were very cooperative once again.

The nurse then switched me to the ultrasound room so we could check the size of the babies and do the Doppler. Both babies are doing really well and had great heartbeats. Baby A is still head down and Baby B it transverse laying sideways across my belly. Baby A is measuring about 4lbs. 4oz. and Baby B is measuring about 5lbs., so they aren't as far apart in weight as they were 2 weeks ago but there is still a difference. The ultrasound tech got everything she needed and then we waited to talk to the doctor. He came in to talk to us and said everything is going really well and that the NST was perfect and he's much happier about the sizes of the babies. He said he is giving me off next week so I don't have to go in for another NST for two more weeks. "He's giving me the week off for good behavior" lol. So next week I just have to go to see Dr. R.

John and I are very happy that the babies are doing so well and time is just ticking away. They will be here before we know it. We have so much to do it's crazy! I'm doing really well. I just feel huge and uncomfortable. I have a toms of aches and pains and I'm exhausted. But other than that really good. LOL.
