3 Months...
So today is Aiden’s 3 month birthday. I can’t believe how fast time is flying by. He is getting so big and has the most awesome personality! I love his laugh and his smile. He’s amazing. I’m not just saying that because I’m his mommy and totally in love with him either. It’s all totally true, I swear. It's amazing how just when I think I couldn't possibly love him anymore because I love him sooooo much... I do!!!
On Tuesday, he had his 2 month check-up. Yeah he was a little late, it was the doctor’s office fault… not ours. Anyway, he’s doing great! He now weighs 13 lbs, 15 oz. And is 25 inches long. His head measured 45 cm. Or at least that’s what I think they said. He also had to have five of his vaccinations. Four shots and one oral one. I felt so bad for him, he got so upset. I think that’s a lot to make a baby go through in one time and they should break it up a little bit but what do I know. The doctor was very happy with Aiden’s pooping and said as long as he keeps going at least every other day, he’s happy. He said that he thinks that I feed him too often because whenever Aiden wants to eat I feed him. I tried to explain to him that Aiden is a lazy eater. If I’m breastfeeding him, he sometimes only eats for 5 minutes and then passes out so I know he didn’t get a full feeding. On the other hand, if he has a bottle he sucks it dry. So I don’t know. I just do what I think is right. Maybe I’m right… Maybe I’m wrong. Who knows. The doctor said that for Aiden’s weight he is in the 70th percentile and for his height he is in the 90th percentile. I think that’s about it. He has to go back in like six weeks for his next check-up.
Other than that we’ve been having lots of fun with Aiden. He’s awesome but I already told you that. He talks up a storm! He has a serious set of lungs on him too. We finally broke out the video camera and have been making home movies of Aiden. He gets a little camera shy sometimes though. It’s funny he’ll be sitting there gabbing away and talking up a storm, John will break out the camera and start taping him and he just sits there straight faced and stares. He’s such a little punk. It’s all good though, we love him with everything we have.
