Aiden's Second Tooth...

Aiden has been pretty cranky the past two days or so. This morning when I was feeding him his breakfast I figured out why. When I was feeding him his cereal, I just happened to catch a peek at his bottom gums and his second tooth has popped through his gum. So now my lil man has two bottom teeth! This one must really be bothering him a lot worse than his first tooth though. He has been looking really sad and has been crying a lot more. He will be ok one minute and the next screaming and crying a heart wrenching scream. I feel terrible for him. I've had my fair share of toothaches and I can't imagine what it feels like for him.

My dear Aiden...

I know that people are always lecturing me on you sleeping in bed with us and how you shouldn't be, but I love having you next to me. I love just laying there next to you, My favorite time is when I am up in the middle of the night obsessing about something or another and I can't sleep so I just sit there and watch you sleep. I could seriously watch you sleep all night. You are so beautiful and peaceful. You're perfect and I love you so much! No matter what is bothering me or whatever I have going on in my life, all I have to do is take one look at you and it makes me smile & makes everything seem alright again.

Aiden's First Tooth...

Today John & I had errands to run so we stopped at Olive Garden for lunch while we were out. We got Tirimusu to share for dessert and John was letting Aiden taste a little bit of the mousse stuff off of his finger. All of the sudden he was like "I think Aiden has a tooth!" John felt a hard spot on his lower gum while Aiden was sucking on his finger.. When we got home I checked and sure enough there is a tooth there. Aiden had his first tooth cut through his gums. He is getting so big, so fast! I guess that explains all of the recent sleepless nights and crankyness. We thought he might be teething because he has been drooling like crazy, chewing on anything he can fit in his mouth, and biting on his bottom lip alot. My lil man has his first tooth and looks sooooo adorable. Then again, he always does...
